Ohio State received tremendous news this Wednesday regarding its defensive line. Despite some speculation that he may go pro, Tyleik Williams is returning to the Buckeyes for the 2024 season.
Williams teased the possibility of him declaring for the NFL Draft in a letter he shared on social media. However, he finished that letter by announcing his return to Columbus.
“Lastly, I wanna thank Ohio State for everything, the best band and the best fans in the world,” Williams wrote. “Thanks for bringing me in with open arms and allowing me to put on that jersey and represent you all. I’ll never forget the memories I have created. That’s because…. I AIN’T DONE MAKING THEM YET YEAR 4 LETS DO IT!”

Williams finished the 2023 season with 54 tackles, five passes defended and three sacks, receiving All-Big Ten honors in the process.
With Williams on board for the 2024 season, Ryan Day has to feel good about his defensive line.
As for Williams, he could boost his draft stock with a monster season next fall.
