It’s been an eventful day for Ohio State recruiting to say the least. After adding four-star running back Mark Fletcher last week, Ohio State added two more commitments today.
On Sunday, four-star cornerback Dijon Johnson announced his commitment to the Buckeyes. Three-star wide receiver Bryson Rodgers announced his commitment to Ohio State only an hour earlier.
Johnson is the No. 265 overall prospect in the Class of 2023, per 247Sports. He is the No. 29 cornerback in the nation and the No. 47 prospect from the state of Florida.
Rodgers is the No. 367 overall prospect in the Class of 2023, per 247Sports. He is the No. 48 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 73 prospect from the state of Florida.
Clearly Ohio State’s scouts in the Sunshine State have been earning their keep. Buckeyes fans are thrilled with the recruiting coup they pulled off today:

Dijon Johnson was a two-way player at Wharton High School as a sophomore before really emerging as a top cornerback as a junior in 2021. He earned all-state honors after recording six interceptions and four pick-sixes in 2021.
Bryson Rodgers is a deep threat who averages over 15 yards per reception and a touchdown every 4-5 catches. In 2020 he had 47 receptions for 710 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging nearly 80 yards per game.
Both players have the potential to be impact players at Ohio State.
The Buckeyes’ 2023 recruiting class currently ranks No. 2 in the nation, according to 247Sports.
