The Ohio State Buckeyes are reportedly making moves on the coaching staff.
According to The Athletic’s Chris Vannini, OSU dismissed special teams coordinator Parker Fleming and also hired Matt Guerrieri to replace safeties coach Perry Eliano.
Fleming spent three seasons in Columbus after starting as a quality control coach and working his way up to the full-time staff in 2021.

Fleming took a lot of heat during his time with Ohio State’s as the Buckeyes’ special teams usually left plenty to be desired.
That was definitely the case in the program’s game against Rutgers this season when there was a “miscommunication” between he and head coach Ryan Day that Day addressed after the 35-16 win.
“The ball should have punted. That never should have been a run in that situation,” Day said of the botched fake punt in Week 10. “So ultimately, I’m the head coach, and so it comes back on me, but it needs to be communicated better, and it’s unacceptable.”
Now Fleming will be forced to look for work elsewhere.
