The Buckeyes continue to recruit California hard with another two offers worth mentioning.
Ohio State was active on the recruiting trail Wednesday, offering a handful of new names from all over. Among them, it was in the late hours of the evening when the latest offer recipients — a set of twins — took to their social media accounts to update their recruitment.
Starting with a California native edge rusher, St. John Bosco product Ethan Coach now has the Buckeyes on the list. The No. 432 player nationally and 33rd best at his position per the 247Sports Composite for the 2027 class, Coach holds double-digit offers, and Ohio State is arguably his most impressive to date.
California continues to be a recruiting region Ohio State is all over, and Coach will hear from the staff often as his prep powerhouse is constantly churning out top national recruits.
Super blessed to receive an offer to Ohio State University!!!! @GregBiggins @ChadSimmons_ @On3Recruits @BrandonHuffman @boscofootball @adamgorney #AGTG pic.twitter.com/GDvp0lO7cJ

Moving on to brother Justin Coach, he too was on the receiving end of an Ohio State offer which makes sense considering the caliber of players both are. A 6-foot-2, 205 pound linebacker, Justin is the No. 422 player nationally and 31st best at his position per the 247Sports Composite.
Like Ethan, Justin’s offer list has some impressive contenders, but the Buckeyes now entering the mix should cause a domino effect for more top suitors to come calling.
For now, the Buckeyes offering these two twin brothers means they’ll do what it takes to see them visit, but as 2027 prospects, there’s time for the relationship to get started and the right way.

Ohio State makes the cut for 2026 Texas native
The Buckeyes are seeing their name in the mix for high-profile players almost daily, and Thursday was no different.
Releasing a list of a final five schools on Thursday, Texas native Legend Bey kept Ohio State under his consideration with Duke, Texas, Texas A&M, and West Virginia also in the running. The No. 430 player nationally and 29th best athlete in the 2026 class per the 247Sports Composite, Bey is also listed as a quarterback and the staff is still looking for their guy at the position.
New names are starting to emerge for Ohio State, but until they zero in on one major candidate it’s anyone’s guess as to who they’ll end up with. Multiple predictions in favor of Texas A&M for Bey, the Buckeyes may be on the outside looking in right now, but recruiting can change in an instant if this staff goes all in.

Quick Hits
- Fully set on adding additional cornerbacks to this 2026 recruiting class, position coach Tim Walton has been putting in the miles as of late visiting multiple of the top names on his big board.
Making another stop on Thursday, Walton had Oho State in the mind of four-star cornerback, Justice Fitzpatrick (Fort Lauderdale, Florida/St. Thomas Aquinas) when he took time to visit in-person.
The No. 48 player nationally and fourth best at his position per the 247Sports Composite, Fitzpatrick has all of the tools including the lineage to be a real star at the next level. Making his last trek to Columbus this past March, the Buckeyes would love nothing more than to get him back to campus in the coming weeks and if so, certainly Ohio State has a shot here.
