The Buckeyes would be set up nicely heading into next season if they can land Howard. He’d immediately replace Kyle McCord, who transferred to Syracuse a little over a week ago.
Howard entered the portal after starting 12 games for the Wildcats in 2023. In those games, he completed 61.3% of his passes for 2,643 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
He was with the program for four years and finished with 5,786 yards through the air, 48 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions.
Let’s see if Ryan Day and his staff can get this highly-coveted quarterback.
