After days of speculation, Ohio State has finally listed Marvin Harrison Jr.’s status for the Cotton Bowl Classic against Missouri.
Unfortunately for fans of the Buckeyes, Harrison is officially out. This is most likely a precursor to him declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Harrison didn’t participate in practice this week, which then led to a ton of speculation about his future in Columbus.
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day ultimately refrained from sharing Harrison’s status with the public.

Harrison told reporters earlier this month that he was “undecided” about his future with the Buckeyes.
“You guys know, coming into this year I wanted to beat ‘the team up north’ and win a Big Ten championship and obviously I didn’t do that this year,” Harrison said. “I think that’s a great motive to come back if that’s what I decide to do. It’s something I definitely wanted to do in my Ohio State career and not having done that yet, that opens the door for me to come back.”
If Harrison has truly played his last game for Ohio State, he’ll finish his college career with 2,613 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns.
Of course, Harrison would also leave Ohio State with a Biletnikoff Award to his name.
