The Caitlin Clark effect is very real and its not just limited to Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
No. 2 Iowa’s arrival in Columbus for Sunday’s game resulted in an all-time attendance record for Ohio State’s women’s basketball program. Boasting an audience of just short of 19,000:
“Thank you to each fan in attendance today as we brought the highest indoor women’s basketball attendance of the season to the Schott AND broke our program’s attendance record,” the school tweeted.

The Hawkeyes came into this one as 7.5-point favorites but find themselves in a very close game with just over three minutes to go.
A loss today would be Iowa’s first in Big Ten play this season.
