One person is dead after a massive brawl near Ohio State’s campus on Monday.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, one person is dead following a massive brawl that took place outside a Waffle House on North High Street. Columbus police have confirmed that one person is dead.
The brawl reportedly included roughly 20 people. At this time, the victim has not been identified.
“Police received the call about 2:31 a.m. after a fight involving somewhere between 15 and 20 people outside the restaurant at 1712 North High Street,” the Dispatch reported.
“Columbus police have not released details about the shooting, including any identifying information about the person who suffered the fatal gunshot. However, the victim was taken by medics to a nearby hospital where they died.”
Ohio State is currently wrapping up its spring semester. The Buckeyes’ campus was also home to a massive pro-Palestine encampment protest earlier in the month.
