ESPN’s Paul Finebaum is a big fan of Ohio State heading into the 2024 college football season.
Finebaum likes what Ohio State has done this offseason, whether it’s everyone coming back or adding a lot of star talent via the transfer portal. Because of those things, he has the program as the best in the country heading into the year.
“I don’t think it takes any imagination to say that Ohio State should be the preseason No. 1,” Finebaum said, via On3. “I know everybody looks for someone. That’s mine.”
The Buckeyes have numerous star players coming back, including wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, running back TreVeyon Henderson, and cornerback Denzel Burke.
They also have former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Caleb Downs and former Kansas State Wildcats quarterback Will Howard coming in via the portal, plus a new offensive coordinator in Bill O’Brien.
With Jim Harbaugh gone from the Wolverines, Buckeyes head coach. Ryan Day has to take advantage since he’s lost three in a row to them.
