On Monday the Las Vegas Raiders re-signed a former Ohio State defensive star.
The Raiders announced on Monday that they have re-signed defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins.
Hankins has been with the Raiders since 2018, the same year he joined the team. He signed deals with Vegas in both 2019, 2021 and now another in 2022.
Since playing for the Raiders, Hankins has 172 tackles, 2.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries. He’ll remain an integral part of their defensive line in the years to come.

Hankins and the Raiders defense will have to be sharp this upcoming season if they’re going to have any shot at winning the AFC West.
Josh McDaniels revealed last month that his team is in no way looking at taking a step back and rebuilding.
“I don’t think in today’s NFL there’s really any time to do rebuilding anyway,” McDaniels said, via the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “This certainly isn’t that type of situation for us.”
The Raiders are coming off a pretty good year. They beat the Chargers in the final week of the regular season to earn an invite to the postseason. They lost to the Bengals in the opening round, however.
The AFC West is much improved since then. The Raiders added Davante Adams. The Chargers got Khalil Mack. The Chief restructure their offense and the Broncos added Russell Wilson.
It’s going to be slugfest in the AFC West. Will the Raiders come out on top?
