Ryan Day’s son, RJ, continues to receive interest from Division 1 programs.

Over the weekend, the Columbus, Ohio native shared that he was an extended an offer from the University of Toledo. It’s the third such offer he’s received in addition to Marshall and Boston College.

“After a great camp and conversation with @ToledoQBs I am blessed to say I have earned an offer to the university of Toledo!!” Day tweeted.

The Class of 2027 QB plays his high school ball at St. Francis DeSales where he already made first-team All-CCL as a freshman.

Fans were happy for the young signal-caller on social media:

“How awesome!” a user said.

“Congratulations!” another replied. “Keep up the good work.”

“Congrats RJ!” an OSU fan commented.

“Yessir brudda,” a fellow Ohio football recruit tweeted.

“Toledo offers Ryan Day’s son,” Kyle Rowland reported.

Day is currently listed at 6-feet, 195-pounds with plenty of room to grow.

The son of the Buckeyes coach is expected to be one of the top quarterback recruits in the state so it’ll be interesting to see if he ever ends up receiving an offer from his dad’s program.

Until then he’ll continue to put in the work to get the most out of his potential.
