Even though it’s a year away, it’s never too early to start talking about the 2023 NFL Draft.
There’s serious talent that’s going to be available for teams, especially in the first round. Heck, there are already three frontrunners for the No. 1 overall pick.
It all starts with Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud as he has the best current odds (+200) to be drafted in that top spot. After that, it’s Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with +250 odds.
Young won the Heisman Trophy this past season after throwing 47 touches and only seven interceptions off 4,872 yards passing. He led Alabama to the National Championship Game before it fell to Georgia.
Will Anderson has the third-best odds of being the top pick (+300). The All-American outside linebacker did it all for the Crimson Tide in 2021 when he finished with 101 total tackles (57 solo), 17.5 sacks, and three passes defended.
If he puts up similar numbers in 2022, there’s no doubt he’ll be one of the first players, if not the first player taken at the draft.
