Ohio State quarterback Will Howard is already over the moon about freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.
Smith is the nation’s top recruit in the 2024 recruiting class and signed his NLI (National Letter of Intent) in December of last year. So far, Howard is impressed with what he’s seen from him.
“He’s a specimen, that man is a freak show when it comes to physical,” Howard said. “I’m excited to see him out on the field.”

If Smith develops the way the Buckeyes think he can, it may not be long until he’s one of the top wideouts in the country. They have a history of developing some outstanding wide receivers, including Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and now Marvin Harrison Jr.
Smith and Howard could be a deadly combination for opposing teams once the 2024 season gets underway in late August.
Howard transferred to the Buckeyes earlier this month after spending four seasons with the Kansas State Wildcats.
