Ohio State appears to be running it back for the 2024 season.
Star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau announced via his Instagram on Friday that he will be returning to Columbus for another season. He doesn’t want to go to the NFL just yet.
“With heartfelt gratitude to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A sense of unfinished business, and an unbreakable bond with my Buckeye brothers, I am standing firm into my decision to return,” he wrote on Instagram.

Tuimoloau just had the best season of his collegiate career yet. He finished the 2023 season with 38 total tackles, five sacks, and two passes defended.
For his career, he’s racked up 83 total tackles (36 solo), 11 sacks, seven passes defended, two interceptions, and one forced fumble.
He’s a former five-star recruit in the 2021 recruiting class and was a top-five recruit in the country, per 247Sports composite rankings.
Tuimoloau is the second OSU player to announce his return to Columbus in the last 24 hours, joining star wideout Emeka Egbuka.
