Ohio State has secured a commitment from the younger brother of an NBA All-Star.
Three-star prospect Myles Herro will play for the Buckeyes next season, he announced on Monday.
Herro is the younger brother of Miami Heat All-Star Tyler Herro, who played for Kentucky in his college days and has continued to learn under his older brother as he develops his game.
“How to look at defenders,” Herro told ZAGSBLOG early on in his recruitment process. “How they’re guarding you. Where their feet are. When to attack. What space to attack. What hip to attack. Just how to create space.”
“I used to have to rebound for him all the time too,” Herro joked. “But now it’s more chill vibes.”
The 6-foot-3, 165-pound guard from Whitnall will join a 2025 recruiting class headlined by four-star forward A’mare Bynum next season under head coach Jake Diebler.
