They got one in
Logan Allen allowed one hit in six innings, Daniel Schneemann, Angel Martinez and Carlos Santana hit home runs and the Guardians took game one of a four-game series against the Chicago White Sox in the first game of a (hopefully) doubleheader.
You came here for the action so here you go. First, the Mormon Missle:
Then the Angelic Arrow:
And, finally, the ‘Los Longshot:
Allen was very effective for six for the second start in a row:
Cade Smith was dominant in the 7th and then Hunter Gaddis and Emmanuel Clase were both noticeably down in velo in scoreless innings. I’m sure it’s fine. They were probably just taking it easy on the White Sox.
Looking at the radar, I don’t think they’re getting this second game in, but we will see. Great opening win!
