Jose sends everyone home!
Never a dull moment with this team lol.
Gavin Williams — good pitcher.
Got unlucky on the Gimenez double, and was cruising through 4. Ran into some weird trouble in the 4th as he struggled with command… which was odd considering it’d been on all night.
Gabriel Arias — good player.
He continues to be relentlessly clutch at the plate. He’s been equally fantastic with two outs & RISP this year.
Textbook slide here by Nolan Jones, on the outside lane to avoid a potential tag, as he scored from first on Arias’ double. pic.twitter.com/JF9jNRw2Fi

That was 112 (one-hundred-and-twelve) miles per hour off the bat. Lol.
Lane homered, again, today. That’s nice.

His second of two scorched hits today. Both over 108 mph.
Matt ‘pitches every day’ Festa was good again today, recording 2 outs without surrendering a baserunner.
Tim Herrin. Electric. Hopefully he’s back. Outside of that blow-up in Seattle, he’s been great this month.
Junis was shaky, as always, but managed to work out of a self-imposed jam when he struck out back-to-back Jays with the bases loaded.
Clase was good, too.
Today was very clearly a Cade Smith day off, so I’m not that mad about bringing Festa out with runners on or with letting Enright pitch the 10th.
Right, the 10th. Enright was electric. I really want to see him pitch in more leverage this year, and I like the way Vogt’s been incorporating him into games after the 7th inning.
The 10th. Angel pinch-ran for Bo, and the Jays intentionally walked Kwan (the first IBB of his career).
Then Fry put down a perfect bunt, and reached to first on a no-throw from the catcher Heineman.
And, of course, Jose put the game away with a 103mph liner into left.
Good game all around. Decent performance from your starter, good-to-great performance from your bullpen, good performance from your offense.
Picked up a game on the Tigers (lol).
Win tomorrow, win another series. Get ahead of the Jays in the wildcard race.
