Last game before the deadline was a resounding win.
Good team game tonight.
Offense jumped on Freeland early, pitching shut the Rockies down.
I’m not sure which Guardians we just watched play for our team for the last time, but it was a pleasure for all of them.
To Shane Bieber, I wanted to say thank you for all the amazing memories you gave us during your time here. If this is the end, it was a real pleasure.
Anyway!
Fry started off the game with this 2-run homer in the 1st inning.

Really awesome to see Fry getting into a groove after a pretty abysmal start to the season.
Allard then provided 3 perfect innings of starting pitching.
Rocchio hit a sacrifice fly in the 4th inning, and both Manzardo and Santana drove in runners with base hits in the 8th.
Really good team win.
Allard, Festa, Junis, Enright, Gaddis, and Cade Smith combined to pitch a 3-hit, 9-inning shutout.
Cade looked better tonight (hard to look worse than he did his last time out, lol). For many of the relievers who pitched today, basically anyone other than Cade Smith, that very well could be their last appearance in a Guardians uniform.
The Twins come to town this weekend.
Not much else to say, I just hope we see Kwan at the top of our lineup again on Friday.
