The Guardians are on a win streak!
Ok I know its the Twins and I know they just traded away half of their roster, but I am having fun watching the Guardians again! I’m so glad they finally called up one of their top prospects in CJ Kayfus, he needs to get ABs now so that he has a better chance at making an impact next season. Also, Bo Naylor seems to be figuring some stuff out at the plate the last few weeks, I am praying he can keep this up. Daniel Schneemann had an incredible game, going 3-4 with a HR and a double, it’s nice to see him hitting well again. What’s left to say about José Ramírez? He is 1 of 1 and we are so lucky to have him on our baseball team. His average is back up to .300 and his OPS is .901.
It was another meh outing from Tanner Bibee tonight, I am still confident in him long term but he has got to figure it out quickly if this team wants any chance to make a legitimate playoff push. The bullpen was nails tonight, Festa, Sabrowski, Enright, and Gaddis combined for 4.1 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts and zero walks!
The Guardians will go for the sweep tomorrow! It will be Joey Cantillo vs José Ureña at 1:40 PM ET!
