Yesterday was not able great day for Guardians fans.
The Guardians got shutout by the Yankees. And we got word that Shane Bieber won’t make his start tomorrow at Akron because he’s having elbow pain.
Shane Bieber will not start Friday for Akron. He reported soreness after throwing a bullpen session the other day. He met with team doctors and will consult with Dr. Keith Meister to figure out what’s next.

Now, the Athletic’s Zack Meisel said that the consult is over the phone so hopefully it’s expected soreness and not getting told to come in for x-rays.
George Valera also got pulled in Columbus which stinks. Who knows why.
Angel Genao and Erik Sabrowski will be back in Akron today, so that’s something.
Jhonkensy Noel has a wRC+ of 8. He cannot be in the big leagues by tonight.
