The Cleveland Guardians tacked on another win last night against the Giants. Back-to-back wins, both with go-ahead home runs being the difference maker, certainly have me feeling optimistic again. Nick has last night’s recap here. Hopefully after this afternoon’s game we’ll still be feeling positive.
All-Star voting is still open. José Ramírez has a resounding lead for third base and Steven Kwan will move on to the next round with his current 4th place voting. However, there’s another All-Star on the team that everyone should be voting in. Daniel Schneemann has had an unpredictably fantastic year and deserves to make it to the mid summer classic. Vote here.
Nick analyzed some potential trade deadline targets for the Guardians. There are some familiar names and exciting trade proposals, a great read as we march closer to the trade deadline.

Around the League:
The Yankees continue their losing skid, but at least scored a run this time.
The Royals beat the Rangers, the Twins lost to the Reds in 6, the White Sox/Cardinals and Pirates/Tigers games both got rained out. The Guardians are now two games above .500, but 9.0 games back from the first place Tigers.
