morning notes for June 18
The Guardians headed south to San Fran to play more late night baseball games, and a happier Rafael Devers was there in a Giants uniform ready to help extend their losing streak.
But Devers and the Giants failed at their task, and instead lost a 1-run game that they could have won. Part of that was because of their own mistakes, but Steven Kwan’s usual amazing defense was a bigger part of it. WP: Cecconi (2-3) SV: Kwan (1).
