The Cleveland Browns made their move to a new logo and helmet official on Wednesday, and the reactions from X (formerly known as Twitter) and other social media networks exploded. The move is actually back to an old logo and helmet as the Browns swap out the brown facemask for a white one, and return to the glossy finish on the helmet over the matte finish.
With the help of running back Nick Chubb, the Browns dropped a hype video about their branding change, a move back to their helmet before 2006. Ever since the tragic uniform release of 2014, the Browns have worked tirelessly to return their uniforms to a place that would make tradition happy.
And they have finally reached the finish line. First, it was the new uniforms back to the traditional look in 2020, and now the Browns have brought back the best looking helmet in franchise history as well.
Here are the best reactions from social media as the Browns, with the help of Chubb, announced the return of the white facemasks.
