Another member of Ohio State’s defensive line has reportedly chosen to enter the transfer portal this spring.

On Saturday, junior DL Noah Potter decided to seek playing time elsewhere.

Per NBC affiliate Whitney Harding, “Can confirm Ohio State defensive lineman Noah Potter is in the transfer portal.”

Potter played in just seven games over his three seasons in Columbus. That might’ve been different had injuries not kept him completely off the field last year.

After missing the first four games recovering from foot surgery, Potter nearly lost vision in his right eye due to a detached retina; requiring another surgery.

At 6-foot-6, 275-pounds, Potter is able to provide some nice size in the trenches at either the end or tackle spots. In Ohio State’s spring game, he tallied 5.5 tackles and a pair of sacks.

A former four-star prospect, Noah Potter has at least two seasons of eligibility left wherever he may go. Hopefully, wherever that is, he’s able to stay healthy and get on the field.
